Install

Pink Fix is a Blender extension for Blender 4.2 LTS to 5.2 LTS, tested in CI on Blender 4.2, 4.5 and 5.2 on Windows, macOS and Linux. It has no other requirements and never connects to the internet.

  1. Buy Pink Fix on Superhive and open the receipt page.
  2. Drag the extension from the receipt page into an open Blender window.
  3. Blender asks whether to install it. Accept, and accept the offer to add Superhive as a remote repository: that is how you get updates later (see Updates from Superhive).

From the downloaded zip

  1. Download pink_fix-<version>.zip from your Superhive account. Don't unzip it.
  2. In Blender open Edit > Preferences > Get Extensions.
  3. Open the menu at the top right of that tab (the ⌄ button) and choose Install from Disk…, then pick the zip.
  4. Pink Fix appears under Edit > Preferences > Add-ons, enabled. Its version is shown when you expand the entry.

You can also drag the zip file straight onto the Blender window.

Find it

In the 3D Viewport press N to open the sidebar and click the Pink Fix tab. Scan, Match, Apply, Collect & Pack and Export Report are also in File > External Data. Then follow the Quick start.

Settings

Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Pink Fix holds the defaults: search folders, Auto-Accept, Fuzzy Minimum, which file extensions to search and the default Collect folder. See Panels.

Update or remove

  • Update: through the Superhive repository, see Updates from Superhive. Installing a newer zip from disk also replaces the old version.
  • Remove: Edit > Preferences > Add-ons, expand Pink Fix, then Uninstall (in the entry's ⌄ menu).
